FMU120 Series Wall Mounting Ultrasonic Flow Meter
Introduction
The FMU series ultrasonic flow meters are advanced devices designed for accurate, non-intrusive fluid flow measurement in a wide range of industrial applications. These meters utilize ultrasonic wave technology to measure fluid flow without altering the flow state, making them ideal for continuous and real-time monitoring.
Working Principle
The FMU series operates by transmitting ultrasonic waves through the fluid medium. The flow rate is determined by measuring the time it takes for the waves to travel between sensors, converting this data into precise flow rate readings. Because the ultrasonic flow meter does not require installation of measurement elements within the fluid, it introduces no resistance or flow disruption, ensuring that the fluid’s state remains unchanged. This feature makes the FMU series particularly suitable for various industrial environments where maintaining the integrity of the flow is critical.
Features
- Non-Intrusive Measurement: Measures fluid flow using ultrasonic waves without altering the flow state or adding resistance.
- Continuous, Real-Time Monitoring: Ideal for industrial settings requiring accurate, continuous flow measurement.
- Various Measurement Methods: Available in external clamp-on, insertion type, and pipe segment type.
- Wide Measuring Range: Suitable for water, seawater, sewage, alcohol, oils, and other homogeneous liquids that conduct ultrasonic waves.
- Versatile Pipe Compatibility: Works with carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper, PVC, aluminum, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, cement pipes, and lined pipes.
Applications
The FMU series ultrasonic flow meters are widely used in industries such as water treatment, chemical processing, oil and gas, and HVAC systems. Their non-invasive measurement methods make them ideal for environments where system integrity and continuous flow monitoring are essential.
